Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Friday strongly condemned what he termed as India\u2019s malicious attempts to distort the statement of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in a bid to push Pakistan back onto the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list.
\nIn a statement, Dr. Saif said that India\u2019s longstanding involvement in terrorism within Pakistan, particularly in KP, was well-documented. \u201cKulbhushan is undeniable evidence of Indian crimes on Pakistani soil, and his activities alone justify India\u2019s inclusion in the FATF grey list,\u201d he stated.
\nHe further added that India\u2019s defeat on the battlefield has led it to adopt underhanded tactics. \u201cAfter suffering a military defeat, India has turned to terrorism and disinformation. The recent rise in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, especially in KP, was directly linked to Indian support for militant groups,\u201d Saif claimed.
\nHe accused India of targeting innocent civilians and fueling instability through covert means. \u201cIndia lacks the courage to confront Pakistan directly and is instead resorting to cowardly attacks from the shadows,\u201d he said.
\nResponding to the controversy surrounding the Chief Minister\u2019s statement, Mr Saif clarified that any misrepresentation of Ali Amin Gandapur\u2019s remarks was part of India\u2019s campaign of misinformation.
\nHe asserted that the Chief Minister himself will approach the FATF to present concrete evidence of India\u2019s involvement in acts of terrorism in the province.
