\nSpeaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met with Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of T\u00fcrkiye, on the sidelines of the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament being held in Geneva from July 29 to 31, 2025.
\nDuring the meeting, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the exemplary relations between Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye, rooted in a shared history, mutual trust, and common aspirations.
\nHe noted that recent high-level interactions between the leadership of both countries had significantly reinforced bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as trade, defence, technology, and cultural exchange.
\nHe also highlighted the unwavering support extended by both nations to one another during natural disasters, as a hallmark of their enduring friendship.
\nSpeaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has conveyed warm greetings from the Parliament and the people of Pakistan to the brotherly people and leadership of T\u00fcrkiye.
\nHe emphasized the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between the two countries, citing regular exchanges through Parliamentary Friendship Groups and mutual collaboration at multilateral forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).
\nBoth Speakers also exchanged views on pressing regional and global developments.
