\nThe economic and policy think tank \u2018Prosper Pakistan\u2019 led by senior business leaders and industrialists inaugurated in Islamabad aimed to promote \u2018Knowledge Economy\u2019 in the country.
\nAt the inaugural meeting of the economic and policy think tank \u2018Prosper Pakistan\u2019, the founding members emphasized the issues facing Pakistan\u2019s economy and the promotion of the knowledge economy.
\nOn this occasion, the founding members, while addressing, said that \u2018Prosper Pakistan,\u2019 as an economic policy think tank, will play its due role in highlighting the country\u2019s economic challenges, providing policy guidelines for their resolution, and developing the knowledge economy on better lines.

\nFounding members including business leaders and Industrialists , Muhammad Ali Sheikh, Aoun Ali Syed,Afaq Ayb, Ms Qurat- Ul- Ain, Farukh Alvi ,Rafique Salman,Tauqeer Malik, Shams Abbasi, Amin Ullah Baig, Sakib Rafiq, Umar Masood Ur Rehman, Rana Siddique, Raja Wamik Khan, Nasim Shahid Mughal, Ms Qurat Ul Ain , Khaliq Ahmad Minhas, Syed Hasnain Raza, Sajid Sheikh and Sahiq Ahmed.
\nPresident Pakistan Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Atif Ikram Sheikh said on the occasion as guest speaker that with the kind of economic challenges our country is facing, \u201cwe urgently need a policy think tank like \u2018Prosper Pakistan\u2019 which can play the role of a representative of the business community.
\n\u201cPakistan currently needs such institutions that can impartially assess the country\u2019s economy and provide policy guidelines to the government so that the atmosphere of bilateral cooperation between the government and the business community can improve\u201d, he added.

\nPresident FPCCI said that the country\u2019s economy is currently facing many challenges, from which we need research support and a comparative analysis of the country\u2019s economy with regional economies is important at this time.
\nSheikh said that the reason why regional economies are currently ahead of us is due to the importance of research and think tanks.
\nOn this occasion, Vice President of FPCCI and founding member of Prosper Pakistan, Aun Ali Syed, said that the role of research and data science in economies around the world is significant and Prosper Pakistan will play its due role in transforming the country\u2019s economy into a knowledge economy, which will provide advice and policy guidelines to the government as a representative body of the business community.
\nSenior business leader said that it is important for the youth to come forward to build a modern economy, who have access to modern knowledge and can give the vision of an innovative economy.
\nHe said that human resource capital is also important in a modern economy and by working on it, the country\u2019s economy can be further strengthened. He said that by working on human resource capital in the country, the country\u2019s economy can be made competitive by bringing it into the atmosphere of global competition, which can promote a sustainable economy.
\nOn the occasion senior business leader, Muhammad Ali Sheikh \u2018Proper Pakistan\u2019 would work for an inclusive and sustainable economy to mitigate the economic challenges of the country.
\nAli Sheikh said that Pakistan\u2019s economy is facing enormous challenges and now the Private sector is pivotal to give policy suggestions for resolving the economic challenge and issues of the Industrial sector in the country.
\nIn meeting Senior business leader, Afaq Ayub give a detailed presentation on the purpose of Proper Pakistan for promoting knowledge economy and bridging the gap between Industries and government institutions.He said that Prosper Pakistan is a non-partisan independent think tank that will provide research oriented policy guidelines to the government and institutions.
\nSenior business leader, Hina Mansab said on the occasion that \u201cwe need to promote women entrepreneur in the country for enhancing inclusive economy in the country.\u201d
