\nHazara Division is brimming with table tennis talent, but these players urgently need proper facilities and professional guidance to reach their true potential.
\nThis was stated by provincial sports department table tennis coach Ibrahim Khan, while talking to the media during an ongoing Summer Training Camp for Junior Table Tennis Players in Abbottabad.
\n\u201cHazara has no shortage of passion and skill, but the players face significant challenges,\u201d Ibrahim Khan said. \u201cThe biggest issue is the lack of a dedicated hall for table tennis in Abbottabad. Players are forced to share space with other sports, which affects their practice and focus. Every sport needs a separate facility so that athletes can train with full concentration,\u201d he stressed.
\nThe coach revealed that 15 junior players are participating in the summer camp, including promising talents like Hanzala, Huzaifa, Hassan, Sufyan, Hamza, and Mah Noor. He added that with consistent training and proper opportunities, these youngsters could soon represent Pakistan at national and international levels.
\n\u201cAll the players in this camp are hardworking and strictly following the instructions of their coaches, which proves that Hazara Division has immense potential for the growth of table tennis,\u201d Ibrahim Khan remarked.
\nHe further urged the government and sports authorities to establish modern facilities, separate halls, and training centers for table tennis in Abbottabad and across Hazara Division. \u201cInfrastructure plays a key role in the promotion of sports.
