\nIn a major step to nurture young sporting talent, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department is launching a 15-day summer training camp for junior athletes from the Hazara region, beginning tomorrow in the scenic city of Abbottabad.
\nThe multi-sport training initiative is aimed at providing structured coaching and modern techniques to promising youngsters. The camp will begin with football and badminton sessions, followed by dedicated coaching programs in squash and table tennis.
\nCertified coaches appointed by the provincial sports department have already arrived in Abbottabad to lead the training sessions. Among them, Ibrahim and Yasir Aziz will oversee table tennis coaching, while squash training will be conducted under the supervision of experienced coach Tahir Iqbal khan.
\nIn preparation for the camp, the coaches held a detailed meeting with Hazara Regional Sports Officer, Mr. Ahmad Zaman, at his office. The discussion focused on the training structure, selection of players, availability of facilities, and overall objectives of the program.
\nSpeaking to the media, Mr. Ahmad Zaman said the 15-day summer camp is a unique opportunity for young athletes to polish their skills in a competitive yet supportive environment.
