\nPunjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has paid rich tribute to the brave martyrs of Kashmir, including the 22 martyrs of July 13, 1931, who laid down their lives in the struggle against tyranny during the Dogra Raj. In her message on Kashmir Martyrs\u2019 Day, the CM said, \u201cWe salute every Kashmiri martyr who became the voice of truth against oppression. The martyrs of 1931 stood tall against the Dogra Raj, and today, Indian occupation forces are repeating that same dark chapter of brutality.\u201d
\nShe said that despite decades of oppression, the spirit of the Kashmiri people remains undefeated. \u201cWhether it was the Dogra rule of the past or the oppressive tactics of today\u2019s Indian forces, they have never been able to break the will of the Kashmiri people,\u201d she added.
\nCM Maryam Nawaz added that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs echo a powerful message, saying that chains can never imprison courage. The fragrance of freedom, loyalty, and sacrifice has permeated the soil of Kashmir.
