\nThe minister expressed full support for the Prime Minister\u2019s goal of turning Pakistan into a cashless society, said a new release.
\nShe stressed that digital payments are a key part of building a modern financial system.
\n\u201cEncouraging digital transactions is essential for creating an inclusive and advanced economy,\u201d she said, adding that Easypaisa is a leading player in Pakistan\u2019s digital finance sector.
\nShaza Fatima said the government is committed to digital empowerment and aims to give equal opportunities to all citizens through technology.
\nThe meeting also focused on exploring future cooperation to strengthen the digital economy. Both sides discussed possible collaboration on the \u201cSmart Islamabad\u201d project, which the minister described as \u201cpositive and forward-looking.\u201d
\nEasypaisa CEO Jahanzeb Khan praised the Ministry of IT\u2019s digital efforts, calling them a strong step towards economic progress.
