His son, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, is admirably following in his father\u2019s footsteps,\u201d the Governor said.<br \/>\nHe also lauded the unwavering support of Haveli\u2019s citizens to the Pakistan Armed Forces, calling them \u201cPakistan\u2019s first line of defense.\u201d<br \/>\nGovernor Kundi highlighted the bravery of the Pakistan Army, saying that they have consistently humbled stronger adversaries, delivering such a powerful response to Indian aggression that even India\u2019s allies were shaken.<br \/>\n\u201cThanks to our courageous military, Pakistanis can walk tall with pride,\u201d he remarked. \u201cThe Muslim world also looks to our armed forces for strength and leadership.\u201d<br \/>\nTouching on the international dimension, the Governor mentioned that India\u2019s defeats had prompted even global leaders like former US President Donald Trump to raise the Kashmir issue.<br \/>\nHe commended Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for representing Pakistan\u2019s case on diplomatic fronts across the globe.<br \/>\nExpressing unwavering support for the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, Governor Kundi reassured that Pakistan will continue its political and moral support until complete freedom is achieved.<br \/>\n\u201cThat day is not far when Kashmir will be free and become part of Pakistan,\u201d he asserted.<br \/>\nHe also reiterated the Pakistan Peoples Party\u2019s commitment to the underprivileged, vowing that every poor household would receive the Benazir Income Support Card. \u201cPPP is a true party of the people, and we are confident of forming the next government in Azad Kashmir,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nThe ceremony was presided over by senior PPP leader Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, while PPP Secretary General and Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore hosted the event.<br \/>\nSpeaker of the AJK Assembly, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, also addressed the ceremony, recalling his association with Mumtaz Rathore.<br \/>\nSeveral other government ministers and PPP central leaders, including Mian Abdul Waheed Khan, Chaudhry Qasim Majeed, Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Nabeela Ayub, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, and Raja Mubashir Ejaz, also spoke on the occasion and paid glowing tributes to the late leader.<br \/>\nA large number of PPP workers and admirers from across the state participated in the event, showing their respect and admiration for the late Mumtaz Rathore.<br \/>\nEarlier, Governor Kundi visited the grave of Raja Mumtaz Rathore, offered prayers for his soul, and praised his lifelong contributions.
