\nWhile the nation celebrated Eid-ul-Azha with joy and warmth, Pakistan\u2019s valiant security forces remained steadfast at the country\u2019s frontiers, ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for all.
\nDeployed across the restive Pak-Afghan border, the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and restive areas of Balochistan, these guardians of the nation observed Eid with unwavering commitment and spirit, vowing to sacrfice their lives for Pakistan.
\nDespite being far away from their families, they stood tall against the threats posed by terrorists and saboteurs, reinforcing the safety of the homeland.
\nTheir humble celebrations at deployment posts were a powerful reminder of their resilience, dedication, and gallantry.
\nWhile many embraced their loved ones, soldiers exchanged Eid greetings through brief phone calls or video messages filled with immense pride and purpose.
\n\u201cI may not be with my family today, but I feel their prayers and love,\u201d said Subedar Jibran Khan of Frontier Corps, stationed at Parachinar, near the Pak-Afghan border.
\n\u201cEid is more meaningful to us when we are serving our country and ensuring its peace and stability for our people,\u201d he added.
\nFollowing in the footsteps of his late father, Subedar (Retd) Misri Khan, who served in the Pakistan Army, Jibran Khan recounted his father\u2019s words: \u201cPakistan has given us everything\u2013 respect, honour, and identity\u2014we are always ready to sacrifice for its defense.\u201d
\nFor these soldiers, Eid is more than a religious festival\u2014it is a reminder of unity, brotherhood, and the noble cause of protecting the motherland from all threats.
\nFrom performing Eid prayers to sharing meals with fellow comrades, these moments reinforced their shared mission and strengthened their bonds.
\nIn a heartwarming gesture, schoolchildren in Peshawar prepared and sent handmade Eid greeting cards to soldiers deployed in forward areas. These cards, filled with heartfelt messages, brought smiles and a sense of connection to the troops miles away from home.
\nThe entire nation also remembered the unmatched sacrifices of heroes like Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed (NH), Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed (NH), Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed (NH), Major Tufail Shaheed (NH), Rashid Minhas Shaheed (NH), Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed (NH)\u2014and thousands of others who laid down their lives for Pakistan.
\nThe entire nation paid rich tributes to defenders of Pakistan whose examplary bravery and battlefield performance have destroyed the nefarious designs of India during operation Iron Wall in May conflict and inflicted heavy losses to the enemy.
\n\u201cEid Mubarak to our brave defenders of Pakistan,\u201d said Professor Dr Ejaz Khan, former Chairman International Relations Department at University of Peshawar. \u201cYour sacrifices ensure peace during our Eid celebrations. You are the pride of Pakistan.\u201d
\nRenowned Pashto singer Khayal Muhammad, economic expert Sumbal Riaz, artist Shahzab and veteran actor Javed Babar also sent Eid greetings to the troops, saluting their courage in confronting hostile threats.
\n\u201cYou are the shield of this nation,\u201d said Misal Khan, retired information officer. \u201cMay Allah keep our soldiers safe from every harm.\u201d
\nAs our soldiers continue to protect the nation with resilience, faith, and patriotism, let us honour their sacrifices and stand united in gratitude.
