Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her recent remarks, in which she reportedly termed PTI as more harmful than India.
\nIn a statement issued here, Barrister Saif said that such statements were a reflection of \u201cModi-ism\u201d and an attempt to undermine national unity.
\n\u201cMaryam Nawaz\u2019s comments are not merely an attack on PTI, they serve as implicit support for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent Kashmiris,\u201d said Saif.
\n\u201cIn trying to deflect attention from Modi\u2019s atrocities, she is instead targeting her political opponents at home, \u201c he added.
\nHe further alleged that Maryam Nawaz\u2019s stance was consistent with a broader pattern of silence from the Sharif family regarding India\u2019s aggression and the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India.
\nMr Saif criticized the Sharif family for prioritizing personal and political interests over national security. He urged Maryam Nawaz to answer the people of Pakistan for what he termed the Sharif family\u2019s \u201ccriminal silence\u201d during moments of heightened Indo-Pak tension.
