\nPakistan Army has announced the successful completion of \u2018Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos\u2019, a retaliatory military venture launched in response to Indian aggression.
\nDirector General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said the Pakistan Armed Forces conducted \u2018Operation Bunyanum Marsoos\u2019 on May 10 as part of the military conflict Marka-e-Haq in response to Indian military\u2019s dastardly attacks that began on the night of May 6 and 7, resulting in the loss of innocent civilian lives, including women, children, and the elderly.
\nEarlier, Pakistan and India held the first round of talks between their Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) via hotline, sources confirmed on Monday.
\nThe exchange marks a rare instance of direct military communication amid heightened tensions between the two countries that follows recent tensions that saw the two South Asian neighbours on the brink of full-scale war.
