The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince was given a guard of honour as he arrived at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad.<br \/>\nPM Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari received the Gulf nation\u2019s top leader in the federal capital.<br \/>\nPresident Zardari conferred the \u201cNishan-e-Pakistan\u201d on the Abu Dhabi crown prince in recognition of his services for bringing the two nations closer and taking Pak-UAE ties to new heights.<br \/>\nThe top civilian award was conferred on the crown prince at a special investiture ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr and attended by PM Shehbaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani parliamentarians, diplomats, and senior officers.<br \/>\nSheikh Khaled is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers and senior officials, as well as prominent business leaders, the Foreign Office said in a statement.<br \/>\nThis visit underscores the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and reflects the shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral economic partnership.<br \/>\nDuring the visit, the crown prince will engage in wide-ranging interactions with the leadership of Pakistan, to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, reinforce historical bonds and promote economic as well as investment cooperation.<br \/>\nSeveral agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed during the visit to bolster the existing robust framework for long-term collaboration in multifaceted sectors.<br \/>\n\u201cThese commitments are expected to open new opportunities for joint ventures and projects aimed at furthering economic cooperation between both the countries and their peoples,\u201d the statement read.<br \/>\nPakistan and the UAE have always enjoyed a relationship characterised by mutual respect, trust, and shared aspirations, the FO spokesperson added.<br \/>\n\u201cThe visit of Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan demonstrates the commitment of two countries to elevate the cooperation, reflective of a growing partnership and robust people-to-people linkages,\u201d it concluded.<br \/>\nLast month, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Pakistan and received a warm welcome in Rahim Yar Khan from PM Shehbaz, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crown prince\u2019s maiden visit Islamabad Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates on Thursday signed multiple memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to enhance bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, including banking, mining, Railways and infrastructure.
