Finance Minister (FM) Muhammad Aurangzeb has said Uran Pakistan program will earn place for Pakistan among major countries of the world in next 3 years and this program will prove helpful in making the current IMF program last one.
\nHe said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.
\nHe went on to say Uran Pakistan project will play key role in enhancing production capability, leading the country by private sector and materializing economic reforms agenda.
\nWork is underway on the matter of reducing government expenses. This project will help us in making current IMF program last one.
\nHe remarked stability has come in national economy. Private sector will have to run the matters now.
\nIn his televised remarks, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the government took necessary steps to address the economic challenges. He expressed confidence that this five-year plan will provide a strong foundation for economic development, and its benefits will reach the common man in the form of better employment, healthcare, education and business opportunities.
\nDescribing it as a revolutionary step, he said the success hinges on the entire nation working collectively toward it.
\nMinister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said this is an all inclusive agenda through which the journey of economic development will be undertaken. He said this economic reforms agenda is for the development of Pakistan and its people.
\nMinister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz said the five-year economic plan will permanently set the country\u2019s economic direction on the right path. He was confident that Pakistan will emerge as a sovereign economic power on the world map as a result of this plan.
\nPML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said political stability is must for economic stability. Pakistan will take off in 2025, he hoped.
