Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Tuesday announced that preparations have been completed for a protest call from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, expected in November.
\nSpeaking to the media, Gandapur stated, \u201cThe final call for protest will come from Imran Khan. I have conveyed his message to the public, and as soon as he gives the green light, we will take to the streets.\u201d
\nCM-KP Gandapur condemned the recent arrests of PTI leaders, calling it a recurring tactic by the government and \u201cstrongly condemning\u201d what he described as \u201cdirty tactics\u201d used against the party.
\nIn a separate development, Chief Minister Gandapur announced a principled decision to expand the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Card scheme, enhancing free healthcare access across the province.
\nHe directed the inclusion of additional public and private hospitals that meet the program\u2019s standards.
\nGandapur stressed that strict criteria should be applied when adding hospitals, focusing on proximity to the population to ensure at least one facility at the tehsil level.
\nThe Chief Minister chaired a meeting with Health Department officials, including Health Advisor Ihtisham Ali, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Ikramullah Khan, Health Secretary Syed Adeel Shah, and senior officials from the Health Foundation and Health Card Plus.
