The workshop was planned as per vision of the new Chairman of Pakistan Engineering Council, Engr. Waseem Nazir to involve all stakeholders in brainstorming for identifying challenges and find a way forward in which KP took the lead.<br \/>\nThe initial sessions included deans, industry partners, students, alumni and parents leaders to tackle pressing issues in the region\u2019s higher education landscape. The event fostered discussions around shared challenges, including faculty development, curriculum modernization, and bridging academia-industry gaps, with each stakeholder group offering unique perspectives.<br \/>\nFaculty and industry leaders collaborated on actionable strategies to enhance teaching and research alignment with market needs, while parents underscored the importance of family support in education. Students voiced their aspirations for modernized curricula and real-world learning, enriching the dialogue on student success. Together, these insights laid the groundwork for a collaborative roadmap to support growth and resilience in KP\u2019s higher education.<br \/>\nThe event culminated in a closing day session attended by Engr. Mr. Waseem Nazir \u2013 Chairman PEC, Engr. Dr. Qaisar Ali \u2013 Vice Chairman KP PEC, Engr. Muhammad Tanveer Javed, President, CECOS University, Engr. Dr Naseer Ahmed, Vice Chancellor CECOS University, Engr. Dr Nasir Mahmood Khan, Registrar PEC and Vice Chancellors alongwith PEC officials, who recognized the initiatives as important strides toward educational advancement. The officials expressed their support for collaborative solutions that can address regional challenges, promote industry-ready skills, and enhance student engagement. Their participation reinforced PEC\u2019s commitment to fostering high standards and continuous improvement in higher education across KP.<br \/>\n\u201cThis gathering marked an important step toward meaningful, lasting improvements in our academic landscape,\u201d said Engr. Muhammad Tanveer Javed, President \u2013 CECOS University. Engr.
