The decision cannot be rendered ineffective based on the retroactive application of the amendments to the Election Act. Therefore, after the short order, the amendments made to the Election Act will have no effect, it added.<br \/>\nThe majority judges stated that the short order granted relief to enforce the right of electors through political parties.<br \/>\n\u201cSince both the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the PTI have sought a second clarification, we only wish to clarify and reiterate the well-established interpretation of the law,\u201d said the clarification.
