\nThe All-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-Regional Table Tennis Championship concluded successfully, with Peshawar\u2019s players putting on a stellar performance to dominate the event. Lieutenant Colonel Abid Aziz, Commandant of the 11th Corps, and Charsadda\u2019s Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan awarded medals and trophies to the winners.
\nThe championship, organized by the district administration of Charsadda at the Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex, saw participation from male and female players from Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, Hazara, D.I. Khan, and Kohat divisions. Matches were held in both singles and team events.
\nIn both categories\u2014team events and singles\u2014Peshawar\u2019s male and female players exhibited remarkable skills, winning the championship trophies. In the women\u2019s team event, Abbottabad secured second place, while Mardan Division claimed third. In the boys\u2019 team event, Peshawar clinched first place, D.I. Khan took second, and Abbottabad finished third.
\nIn the boys\u2019 singles final, Peshawar\u2019s Usman triumphed over fellow Peshawar player Owais Jamshed in a hard-fought battle, winning the championship by four sets to two. For the third position, Abbottabad\u2019s Sajid claimed victory and secured the bronze medal.
\nSimilarly, in the women\u2019s singles final, Peshawar\u2019s Hooria defeated Peshawar\u2019s Alishba 3-1, while Mardan\u2019s Haya claimed third place by defeating Habba 3-0.
\nThe event was organized under the auspices of the Provincial Table Tennis Association, with support from the district administration and the District Sports Officer (DSO). Attendees included DSO Charsadda Mishal Malik, Assistant DSO Irshad Khan, Pakistan Table Tennis Federation Finance Secretary Kifayatullah, Provincial Table Tennis Association Secretary Ahmad Nawaz Malizai, Sports Department coach Saira Naz, and Sajid from the Abbottabad Association.
