\nDeputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday ruled out the reports regarding removal of Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori.
\nTalking to a private TV channel here, he termed the reports about replacing Tessori as baseless and out of context.
\nIshaq Dar was of the view that Bashir Memon was not being appointed as the new governor of the province.
\nFinal decision over Sindh\u2019s governor will be taken in next few days, he added.
\nEarlier, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), a key ally of PML-N at the Centre, threatened to quit the ruling coalition if the PML-N failed to fulfill its \u2018promises\u2019 made during the power sharing agreement.
\nSenior MQM-P leader Farooq Sattar talking to media had warned ruling PML-N of severe consequences if Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori was removed from his office. \u201cMQM-P will reconsider its alliance with the government if it fails to keep its promise of retaining Tessori as the Sindh governor,\u201d he stated.
\nThe MQM leader also expressed disappointment over the government\u2019s decision to \u2018replace\u2019 Tessori, terming it the breach of trust. The development comes amid speculation about Tessori\u2019s removal, circulating for some time.
