\nAdvisor to Chief Minister for Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Saturday said that a meeting was held between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI-backed founder and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur in Adiala Jail.
\nImportant political matters were discussed during the meeting. Consultations took place regarding the Senate elections, particularly concerning the nominations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said Barrister Saif. He said that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur got approval from PTI\u2019s founder for the nominations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the Senate elections.
\nHe said that party chief was briefed in detail by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur regarding the meeting with the Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming FIFC meeting.
\nHe said that PTI\u2019s founder instructed the Chief Minister to continue efforts for provincial rights, underscoring discussions on various federal platforms.
\nDiscussions during the meeting also covered matters concerning peace and security in the province. Party chief also condemned North Waziristan attack on security forces.
\nImran Khan directed the Chief Minister to take all necessary measures to improve the security situation in the province, emphasizing cooperation with security agencies in security matters.
