District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad Dr Syeda Rashida Batool has emphasized the importance of access to safe drinking water in preventing waterborne diseases and protecting public health.
\nShe expressed these views while attending a seminar titled \u201cSafe Water, Save Lives\u201d organized by the Health Services Academy (HSA), followed by the inauguration of a reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration plant established in collaboration with Muslim Hands.
\nDr Rashida appreciated the joint initiative of HSA and Muslim Hands, describing access to clean drinking water as essential for preventing waterborne illnesses and improving community health.
\nShe said the DHO Islamabad would continue to support collaborative initiatives aimed at promoting public health and ensuring a healthier environment for residents of the federal capital.
