\nThe initiative was widely appreciated, reflecting the importance of institutional participation in the national campaign to eliminate Hepatitis C and ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
\nThe screening activity aimed to promote awareness about the disease and encourage individuals to undergo testing, as early detection is essential for preventing complications and reducing its transmission.
\nAccording to an official of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, institutional-level screening initiatives were an important component of the national effort to achieve a Hepatitis C-free Pakistan.
\nThe programme aims to expand screening opportunities and facilitate access to diagnosis and treatment, particularly for people who may otherwise remain unaware of their infection, he added.
