\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s talented javelin thrower Kaleemullah and his coach Abid Afridi have been selected by the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) for the 2027 Asian U-19 Athletics Championships, scheduled to be held in the Philippines.
\nKaleemullah earned selection after delivering an outstanding performance in the Junior Athletics Championship, where he clinched the gold medal in the javelin throw event with an impressive throw of 64.89 metres, setting a new junior record.
\nHis remarkable achievement has earned him a place in the national contingent for the continental championship, while coach Abid Afridi has also been selected to accompany the team and perform coaching duties.
