Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) and conducted a special inspection of various parks across the city. Managing Director Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, along with other senior officials of the agency, was also present on the occasion.
\nDuring the visit, Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha briefed the provincial minister on the agency\u2019s completed and ongoing horticultural projects, including initiatives to improve public recreational facilities, parks, squares, roundabouts, and other public spaces across Rawalpindi.
\nBilal Yasin appreciated the agency\u2019s performance and directed the officials to take further effective measures to enhance the city\u2019s beauty and maintain a green and healthy environment.
\nThe Managing Director informed the provincial minister that the agency was actively working on various projects to transform Rawalpindi into a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful city. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve recreational facilities in public parks, promote tree plantation, ensure proper plant care, restore green spaces, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of public places to provide citizens with a healthy and pleasant environment.
\nDuring the inspection, the provincial minister emphasized the importance of ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the urban environment and upgrading public recreational spaces. In view of the approaching winter season, he also directed the agency to decorate the city with seasonal flowers, including marigold seedlings, to further enhance its visual appeal.
\nManaging Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha stated that the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi was fulfilling its responsibilities by protecting green spaces, renovating and beautifying parks, and improving the environment through plantation drives. He added that practical measures were being undertaken to provide citizens with quality recreational facilities and make Rawalpindi greener and more attractive.
