Sammer Haroon Bilour has assumed charge as adviser to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, pledging to work for public welfare, peace and prosperity in the province.
\nIn a statement issued on Monday, Ms Bilour said she would strive to live up to the governor\u2019s trust and play an active role in serving the people of the province.
\nShe said the Bilour family had always made sacrifices for its land and country, adding that it was her dream to see the people of KP prosperous and thriving.
\nDescribing public service as an honour, she said she was committed to carrying forward her family\u2019s tradition of serving the people.
\nShe said the establishment of peace and public prosperity were among the province\u2019s key priorities, adding that sustainable peace was essential for development and economic progress.
\nMs Bilour said the people of KP deserved peace, development and prosperity, while the protection of their lives and property remained of paramount importance.
