{"id":104219,"date":"2026-10-13T06:14:51","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T01:14:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nabanews.pk\/en\/?p=104219"},"modified":"2026-10-13T06:14:51","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T01:14:51","slug":"lhc-directs-to-provide-heart-disease-medicines-to-dr-uzma-in-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nabanews.pk\/en\/lhc-directs-to-provide-heart-disease-medicines-to-dr-uzma-in-jail\/","title":{"rendered":"LHC directs to provide heart disease medicines to Dr Uzma in jail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE<br \/>\nLahore High Court (LHC) has directed to provide heart disease medicines to Dr Uzma Khan sister of PTI founder Imran Khan in jail.<br \/>\nThe court reserved judgment on summoning Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, CCPO Lahore and other officers in person on the request for calling them.<br \/>\nJustice Abher Gul took up for hearing the petition filed against detention of Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi Monday.<br \/>\nRana Mudassar Umar counsel for the petitioners requested that SP, CCPO Lahore and DC be summoned in person so that they could explain about notification of detention.<br \/>\nCounsel Rana Mudassar took the plea that the petitioners are not requesting for extra ordinary facility in jail but they want provision of basic requirements.<br \/>\nHe requested the court to order for providing clothes, medicines and eye sight glasses to Noreen Niazai besides allowing her to meet her family members and lawyers.
