Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday welcomed the Presidential Proclamation in the province, saying that the people of KP wanted peace, stability, development and prosperity.
\n\u201cThe people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have decided that they will no longer support the Khawarij,\u201d the governor said in a statement issued by his office.
\nThe people will stand by their security forces and fight terrorism until the end, he added.
\nKundi said the people of the province wanted a peaceful and prosperous future instead of chaos and unrest.
\nHe said the people of KPK also wanted to promote brotherly relations and mutual cooperation with other provinces.
\nThe governor added that the province\u2019s development and prosperity could be achieved through the sharing of experiences and joint efforts.
\nEmphasizing the peaceful nature of the people of KP, Kundi said they had never supported terrorism or acts of violence.
\nHe urged the public to refrain from any form of lawbreaking, incitement or rioting.
