President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Aleem Khan on Sunday said that people were still being deprived of basic necessities of life and no one who genuinely loved the country could be satisfied with the system.
\nIn a message posted on X, he said that the country continued to face a serious shortage of clean drinking water, while the condition of hospitals had deteriorated significantly and millions of children remained out of school.
\nHe said that people were still deprived of basic facilities while their hardships were increasing day by day.
\nThe IPP President questioned \u201cIf the provinces were delivering effectively under the existing system why would the people be in such a condition?\u201d He said there was a need to remove the lens of prejudice and look at the actual situation of the people as the reality is that the public is frustrated and deprived of basic amenities.
\nAleem Khan questioned how long the common people would continue to be placated with slogans and be forced to travel hundreds of miles to have their problems addressed.
\nHe said the time had come to ensure that basic facilities were provided to people at their doorsteps and that this required demand of the creation of new administrative units and a restructuring of the existing system is fulfilled in true manner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
