\u201cThe US Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can \u200cbe perceived \u200cas a \u200bthreat \u200ctoward our \u2060protectees. Out \u200bof \u2060concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence,\u201d Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring said in an email.<\/p>\n
A three-minute video broadcast by Iranian \u2060state TV discussed a potential \u200cplot to \u200cassassinate Barron Trump, 20, \u200bclaiming that he \u200cwas being monitored and alleging \u200cthat a $10 million bounty had been offered for his killing.<\/p>\n
The United States and Iran have kept up \u200chostile rhetoric during a nearly six-month-old war started by the \u2060US \u2060and Israel in February. Reuters reported earlier this month that the US has received several warnings from Israel over the past year that Iran intended to assassinate Trump, according to officials, including before a secret Air Force One ruse in Turkiye.<\/p>\n
