Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia Dato\u2019 Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House, on Friday.
\nWelcoming the Malaysian Home Minister, the Prime Minister conveyed his warm wishes for Dato\u2019 Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and inquired about his health, while wishing him an early recovery.
\nThe Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to further strengthening the close and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Malaysia across all spheres, including security, law enforcement, as well as trade and investment.
\nThe regional situation was also discussed during the meeting. In this context, the Prime Minister appreciated Malaysia\u2019s support for Pakistan\u2019s regional peace efforts.
\nThe Malaysian Home Minister conveyed the greetings of his prime minister to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and expressed Malaysia\u2019s keen desire to further strengthen its robust ties with Pakistan.
\nThe Prime Minister also witnessed the signing of the Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between the two countries, signed between the Home Minister of Malaysia and Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
