The first phase of the Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK) Talent Hunt Programme will begin with the Touchme Trophy U-15 Inter-Zonal Cricket Tournament at KCCA Stadium on Sunday, August 23, organisers announced on Wednesday.
\nThe tournament is being organised by RCAK in collaboration with Medicam Group of Companies.
\nAccording to Chairman Tournament Committee Khalid Nafees, 16 zonal teams will participate in the tournament, with two teams each from the zones and three teams each from Zone-III and Zone-IV.
\nThe opening match will be played between Zone-III Blues and Zone-IV Blues at KCCA Stadium on Sunday.
\nExecutive Director Medicam Group of Companies Zahid Hussain Bhatti will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, while RCAK Secretary Ali Hussain will preside over the event.
\nPlayers selected for Zone-III Blues and Zone-IV Blues have been directed to report for scrutiny at 8:30am on Sunday at KCCA Stadium. Players from other zones have been asked to report to RCAK Joint Secretary Muhammad Touseef Siddiqui or their respective zonal officials at noon for scrutiny.
\nAll matches will be played under Pakistan Cricket Board One-Day Tournament rules on a 40-over basis, with no bowler allowed to bowl more than eight overs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
