The MoU was signed by Chairman Pakistan Japan Business Forum Murtaza Mandviwalla and AIOU Registrar Raja Umar Younis on behalf of their respective organizations.<br \/>\nThe agreement aims to provide students and young people with better opportunities to learn the Japanese language, acquire technical and vocational skills, participate in practical training and internships and gain access to employment opportunities. Both organizations will also collaborate on business and industrial research and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of youth.<br \/>\nUnder the MoU, AIOU and the Pakistan Japan Business Forum will undertake joint initiatives to prepare a skilled workforce according to the requirements of Japanese companies and industrial organizations. The two sides will also organize training programs and facilitate stronger linkages between academia and industry to help young people acquire market-oriented skills and improve their employability.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, Chairman Pakistan Japan Business Forum Murtaza Mandviwalla said that the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Japan could be further strengthened through greater educational and industrial cooperation. He said that developing the technical and professional skills of Pakistani youth according to the requirements of Japanese companies was an important need of the time.<br \/>\nHe expressed hope that the partnership with AIOU would help young people acquire modern skills, establish stronger connections with the industrial sector, and access new employment opportunities. He added that closer cooperation between educational institutions and industry could play an important role in preparing a workforce equipped to meet the changing demands of the international job market.<br \/>\nAIOU Registrar Raja Umar Younis said that the University is one of the country\u2019s largest educational institutions, with access to millions of students across Pakistan.<br \/>\nHe said that AIOU students and graduates are making significant contributions in various fields of life and that the University is committed to providing them with opportunities to develop skills relevant to contemporary professional requirements.<br \/>\nThe Registrar further said that various initiatives were being undertaken through the Japan Pakistan Advancement Center to promote Japanese language and culture, professional training, industrial linkages and business cooperation.
