WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said on \u200bFriday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the US next week.<\/p>\n
Trump\u2019s comments came in his speech at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Association Dinner on Friday, while he was falsely \u200ccasting US \u200cSenator Chuck Schumer \u200bas \u200cPalestinian.<\/p>\n
\u201cI \u2060am \u200bgoing to \u2060send him (Schumer) a beautiful Palestinian outfit tomorrow, so he can greet Bibi Netanyahu when he comes to town next week,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe turned Palestinian,\u201d Trump \u2060said of Schumer, who is Jewish, \u200cwhile also \u200cjoking that sharia \u200blaw was Schumer\u2019s \u201cnew founding.\u201d<\/p>\n
US \u200cMuslim and Jewish advocacy \u200cgroups have previously criticized Trump for calling Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, a Palestinian, with the rights groups saying \u200cTrump uses the term disrepectfully as a slur and as \u2060an \u2060insult.<\/p>\n
Netanyahu\u2019s office said earlier that he will travel to Washington on Monday and will meet with Trump on Tuesday. Netanyahu will also attend deceased US Senator Lindsey Graham\u2019s funeral, his office said.<\/p>\n
